SirVer has been diligently working on merging our 4 worlds (Blackland, Desert, Greenland, and Winterland) into one world, so there will be more flexibility when creating maps. We will merge the existing translation into the new However, a few strings will go "fuzzy" because of small (but necessary) changes, and Launchpad will kick these out. So, I recommend that you grab an offline copy of the 4 world files, so you can then use your translaion memories to speed up the translation for the strings that have slight changes to them. I'm also grabbing an archive, so if you did not see this in time, you can ask me for the files. Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |

We have merged the 4 worlds into one now - the new template is called "World". We are leaving the 4 old worlds up on Launchpad for a bit, so you can still search them for the translations that didn't make the import, or download the .po files so you can load them into your translation memories for fuzzy matches. The trees that used to be in Blackland now have new names - they are all ficticious trees, so you are welcome to be creative with your translations. Most of the translations we've merged from the 4 worlds into the new world have been turned into "suggestions" by Launchpad, so you will have to click on them and save. This should recover most of your translation. Edited: 2014-07-10, 13:53

I have created a new page in the Wiki with all the terminology changes that I am aware of. Some older changes from before my time might still be missing though Edited: 2014-07-12, 18:41

Thanks, that might be useful. The link does not work (Firefox 30) though - I do not know how to link to a page containing spaces in its URL. "Only few people know how much one has to know in order to know how little one knows." - Werner Heisenberg Top Quote |

That's because the forum software turned %20 into %2520 - doesn't seem to work with magic links. WikiSyntax links work though, so I've changed it now. Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |

Internationalizabilization is wrong - the correct term is Internationalization, no matter what that blog you got this from says. SCNR Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |

Just a heads up that we have a tricky change coming up, as soon as we rebuild the catalogs on Launchpad:
This means that the Empire's worker will be automatically assigned the translation for the building. Make sure to overwrite this translation. ETA: I just sneaked into the empire template and deleted all translations for "Charcoal Burner" . Make sure you keep in mind that this is a worker now when you retranslate. Edited: 2014-08-03, 14:39

Unless this is some strange grammatical construction I've never come across, I think the highlighted word should be removed. Edited: 2014-08-09, 22:06

Actualy, no. It might be more clear with an added comma: Scouts like Scotty the scout, scouting unscouted areas in a scouty fashion. Of course the joke will probably not work in your language, so be as creative as you want. It's a description of the worker. Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |
