@einstein13 - I saw pictures of those furnaces, too, but I feel the metal furnaces are too sophisticated for the barbarians. I can see them tearing up turf and laying it on a pile of wood to smother flames, but I don't think they would invest that much precious iron metal for a furnace to make charcoal. face-grin.png Nice photos though.

Thanks for that comment. I've enlarged the burning mound. I've also dirtied up the roof and foundation a bit and enlarged the sticks in the wood pile. Also, you may not be able to make it out on the dark background of the web page, but there is a blackened area in front of the building and around the burning mound to simulate the blackened earth that would be found at such a site.

Is it better, do you think? Ready to put in the game? face-smile.png
