If you compare for example the preview (copy it into your reply and click on preview):

Header 1 | Header 2 | Alignment right | Alignment center
-------- | -------- | -------------- :|: ------------- :
Value 1 | Value 2 | right | centered
Value 3 | Value 4 | right | centered
Value 5 | Value 6 | right | centered

with the result:

You will notice that there is much more space between the rows of the table.

It would also be nice if if was possible to add some space under the table. The text is as close as the next row of the table.

The posted table should not have so much space i think?

It would also be nice if if was possible to add some space under the table. The text is as close as the next row of the table.

I did not add any extra space. I prefer the way it looks like in the preview.

I did not add any extra space. I prefer the way it looks like in the preview.

I think it would be better, if borders are shown for the table. I choosed black:

table_borders

Maybe the space between table and following text could be greater?

I've made lesser space from top text to table and leave the space beneath the table. This looks nice.

I like the borders, the show what belongs together. Unfortunately, black is a bit difficult to see on the dark background, but I have no other idea.

Yes, black is difficult to see, but it seems the best to me.
