Ok, so it hasn't been yet written here, but kristin sent a mail to all players saying that there is a replacement for dhysleander.
I suggest that top priority is given to the team C - juma game, as most likely juma will win and then we'll be able to play the second part of the tournament even while some people are still finishing the group phase.
If instead, team C win, then it will most likely win also the other two games, and then we'll have to make playoffs between three teams, so don't take it personally if I say that I fervently wish team C will lose with juma

your idea is very logic, but I prefer to give them some time. Personally I want to see all the battles before I will proced with other games The rules should be the same for everyone. We shouldn't change them, even that logic say something else. Why? Because we should take any consequences of our choices. einstein13

After this email from Kristin, mars and myself were the first to fill-in that new doodle. Three days later there is still nothing from either of the two members from Team C. Are they really motivated for this? In the next weeks my time schedule is also a bit tight...well lets see what happens here. They have 3 games left to play.

it's not lack of respect fr those that still have to play, I'd like to finish the tournament as soon as possible because i am inpatient to play more. now I feel less motivated to go in lobby to look for games if there isn't a tournament game planned, and I'm also becoming paranoid that the more I play casually and the more people will learn to play against me. other people may feel that way, because it's very rare to see people for casual games outside of tournament. Also, when we finish the tournament we can start another one!

I would like to play with you, but I don't have much time to share it with other people now. Hope it is temporary and then we can train/ play/ fight
You play casually, as most of people here. But for sure your strategy is one of the most powerful. Don't worry
You can set up a tournament, but for me it will be much easier to set up a long-term game with larger group. Maybe few games? I would like to play The Nile map with more people. Also AI if needed. Now it can be a bit funny Edited: 2015-03-15, 20:25

It has been announced by email that the next games will have collectors as victory condition. Not sure what I think of it, but I have a few questions about it: 1) Do the wares need to be in a warehouse to ccount towards points, or gold ingots in weapon smiths and military equipment in training sites count? How about equipment being trasported on the roads? 2) Is the score progressive, so that every 10 minutes you get more points for the amount of stuff you have by then, or only the last count is important? 3) If a player is destroied, will he lose the game automatically, or he still competes with the score he accumulated until then?

Not sure about 1. 2) Only the last number counts, if you use the weapons to upgrade soldiers, your points will decrease. 3) Given 2) a player without warehouse/hq should have very little/no points (depending on 1) ) Edited: 2015-03-17, 18:49

1) You get points for wares in your warehouses. So you have to decide how many wares you use to expand and defend and how many you use to get points.
