Wow, this has gone fast I searched some pages with tables and took a look... most look good (eg: https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/EmpireStoryAnOutpostForExile/) The history site looks good too (example: https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/history/EmpireStory/) IMHO also the edit site of an article (https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/edit/EmpireStory/ ) In my opinion some other tabels doesn't look very well e.g.:
In this cases the tables are used as a layout-tool, which they aren't for. At the moment we could leave it as is i think. While working on the wiki i will try to find some nicer solutions for such things Is the new table-style ok to you? The ones that don't look good shouldn't be tables at all. I fixed the 2 pages that you linked. Busy indexing nil values
