I have seen that two new maps was uploaded, but i didn't get an email notification face-sad.png

Can some one else with notification setting "A new Map is available" turned on confirm this?

Ok, i got two notifications for different maps... don't know why. I will leave this as is right now. We will see how it reacts in future.

Feel free to inform me when something strange happens face-smile.png

Not sure if this is strange or not but I have had over 40 notifications so far today, some for maps that are 6 months old.

Similar for me – I received 26 New Map notifications, mostly for older maps. They were in no order – very old maps followed by new maps followed by old maps. The test map was the first notification.

I guess that there was a long backlog of messages to be sent that has now been cleared. It should behave itself from now on.

I uploaded a new map earlier (Snowstorm). I promptly received the notification. Since then, I received 4 more New Map messages, one of them for Snowstorm (half an hour ago). Another was for a quite old map (2 hours before that) which I had already received a message about earlier.

Well, that's really strange... I am very sorry for spamming your inbox with those emails face-sad.png

The code to send mails for new maps is in the save-method of wlmaps, so the emails should only be send if a new map is saved/uploaded. Nordfriese's statement shows that this is working. Seems something else triggers the same notification.... and feed it with random stuff. I have to investigate this.

Thanks Nordfriese for your descriptions face-smile.png

Deactivate the EMail setting of new uploaded maps should stop spamming your inbox. I will answer here if i have fixed the failure so you could turn the setting on again.

Just to update you, I had 30 notifications overnight and noticed that sometimes I get several notifications for the same map, not only different versions but the exact same version.
