when two people have equal score and bucholz, if they played a direct encounter the one who won is placed first. so the ranking uses it in the case of me and nemesis, we both were tied at 4 points and 20 bucholz, but I won the 1st round against him and so I am second and he is third. round 5 had a more complicated situation, with three people tied at 3 points 13 bucholz: nemesis, einstein and mars. Of them, einstein played against both, nemesis and mars didn't play. einstein defeated mars and lost to nemesis. So of the games played among the three people tied, nemesis won 1 out of 1, einstein won 1 out of 2, mars won 0 out of 1. That resulted in nemesis going first, followed by einstein and then mars ![]() ![]() |
