I agree it´s too dark, the lower half of the image is barely visible in the screenshot. I think the blue lines don´t fit to Widelands at all, they just look way too futuristic. (Also they clash with the bronze color.) The bronze-and-greyish theme looks good to me. Top Quote |

I thinks this proposal is nice, although i agree the things already mentioned. The problem with additional colors will be that if the background-, or button-, colors will change, the additional color will clash again. Maybe the blue lines should be transparent? Anyway: Thanks Nytren for your work Top Quote |

Thanks again to all of you for the feedback. I think that the above mentioned points also apply. I'll think it over again and rework everything. I think I'll be finished in a few days with a better result Edited: 2019-02-28, 13:38

I'm thinking about whether to use the logo 3d models. it would have the advantage that the light conditions would be better by a few things and that there would be a better result in the end. But that would be associated with a greater effort of course its time costs how do you think about it? Top Quote |

If the 3d model isn't too deep, just try that Didi you know that the font (widelands.ttf) is shipped with each installation? Top Quote |

BTW. Is there a specific reason why this font isn't used any more? I guess it doesn't fit all languages, but couldn't it be used for those languages where it does? Top Quote |

It can only be used for the logo, because the number of glyphs in it is very small. Busy indexing nil values Top Quote |
