I am working on a new map like dolomites, where I take a real place and transfer it faithfully in game coordinates. to do that, I need a site where I can see elevation lines, click oon a point of the map and get its coordinates and elevation. then i can copy the data into a ddatasheet that converts it into game coordinates. unfortunately, i don't have that site anymore. I used to use https://www.daftlogic.com/sandbox-google-maps-find-altitude.htm in the past. now, however, it does not give anymore the option of visualizing elevation lines. without elevation lines, I can click random points on the map, but I cannot truly identify mountain tops and valley floors, so the site in its current version is useless to me. Is there anyone who knows of something else I can use? Top Quote |

No. the map is very nice, but it does not let me know the coordinates of a point i click, and most important, it does not print out the data.
Awful site. it has no accuracy whatsoever. the lines it generates don't even look like the actual lines you can see on a real map. Good maps, but again, no way to quickly get the coordinates of the point i click, and especially no way to print them. I know. my needs are quite particular. I need to click on a spot and have the map print coordinates and elevation somewhere that I can copy-paste in my datasheet. nothing else will do. Top Quote |

Yeah, the default accuracy is too low. It can be improved by increasing the Sampling Points, but if you go high enough it starts giving errors...
Hmm... What about these then? Top Quote |
