the great escape is also a map i'd rather not use for pvp.

i'm waiting another 24 hours if we get someone at the last minute and we can try to make a 2v2 team tournament, otherwise i will confirm the maps

Another possible big map would be swamp monks, red vs green

Also Crater is a nice copmpetitive map and personally i like the one of Hasi very much, Crossriver which has if you take a very close look so many strategical options, since it is on both sides - or you can expand to all four sides.

Crossriver is unfair, the blue position is much worse than the red

Maybe the AI could be player number 12? Not that I would like to team up with it, but it would be a possibility.

Croissriver is an excellent thing, only is needs like so many things an overall balancing

swamp is in many categories not useful also you have to much building space

Visent Valley gives you a lot of possibilities in how you set the players

Do it then face-wink.png Blue player needs more space, greenland, coal. For example.

swamp is in many categories not useful also you have to much building space

How can one have too much building space? face-smile.png

Visent Valley gives you a lot of possibilities in how you set the players

At the other hand I'm afraid that green vs red is the only one which is fair?

Very nice! Looks like we have a very strong participation field now.

Map suggestions for a possible 2vs2 tournament:

Short distances:

  • Great escape, red yellow vs green black
  • The map in the Attachment, east vs west (maybe also artificial looking, but maybe not too much)

Medium distances:

  • Wisent valley, blue green vs red yellow

Long distances:

  • Swamp monks, east vs west

  • Big lake, blue red vs green black

Edit: Does anybody want to be the arbiter of the tournament?

welcome!

so, maps. desert tournament is pretty much a must in 2v2.

i'm looking at full moon, and it looks balanced and interesting.

wisent valley is still on the table

trident of fire is also a possible map

there are several possible maps, but i don't like them much.

I would like to use dolomites for a tournament eventually, but i don't think it's balanced enough.

I still can take suggestions
