Coat of Arms: Barbarians A first draft for the shield in the babarian coat of arms (is this translation correct?) http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/6931/wappen1.png Axe and skull are coming after finishing the shield. Top Quote |

Just for understanding: Why do the Barbarians need a shield? They don't carry any and the ware "shield" doesn't exist. Two is the oddest prime. Top Quote |

Hey, fraang! Good to hear from you! Nice looking shield. I like the separate planks over one solid piece of wood. So you're reworking the barbarian emblem? This is the current emblem (for those who may not know) I look forward to seeing the rest of your version. Cheers! Edited: 2010-11-14, 22:43

You are right, of course, to say the barbarians don't carry a shield, but they DO need an emblem to identify their tribes in the game. Maybe you can think of it less as a shield and more a background for a crest or coat of arms. It's just that shields make such good backgrounds. I see little people. Top Quote |

What do you think of an paninted symbol on the wooden part of the shield? Top Quote |

Sure! Use your imagination, just be certain to make it BARBARIC enough. A point to consider is that the barbarians principle weapon is the axe. You may want to review the wares images for some ideas. Just a thought.
