I think that repeated attack notifications are a bit too overwhelming. I would suggest that if next attack is in like 1 minute after previous one (if it would be configurable it would be awsome), it might be sound like "ta-tam" instead of "TAAA-TAAAAAAAMMMMM!!!". Sorry for capslock, I needed it to make my point Top Quote |

For me the problem is the false alarms being sent. When I make an attack usually I get these false alarms about the enemy attacking me when all they are doing is rushing out to defend against my attack. It's super annoying to have to check to see that yep, nothing is attacking me. I suppose this is actually a bug. -- |

I think there are already several Hotkey, Mouseclicks to accomplish this:
This can be also problematic if you get attacked at different borders: How should the engine decide which one should be handled by the Hotkey? Anyway i think first the related open bugrepots should be fixed before implementing such an hotkey: Trigger less attack messages, Highlight buildings under attack on the minimap . I remember there is also a bug report regarding false alarms, which is very annoying for me as well, but i can't find it now. Top Quote |
