Check the River again ; ) i played some excellent games with kaputtnik on the map which were real exciting (im my opinion better then last bastion) Top Quote

One thing is that it's another map where you don't need geologists. The other is I don't think it's well balanced: the North-Western side of the coal mountain has very few available building spots for mines, and the gold mountain isn't much better either. The stone and forest blocks (not again! ) at the feet of the mountains are also very different. But the ways to turn these to one's advantage are not obvious. So as long as the 2 players can agree on starting positions, it may be acceptable. IMO Elven Forests looks much better, as everything is scattered in small spots randomly. Top Quote
