to finalize the planning @stormax-e could you confirm whether you were able to have the correct version due to the advice provided from @tothxa.

I'm able to participate with another computer. Somehow the problem from this computer didn't get fixed even after having system wide version of freedesktop.Platform. too. The difference between these two computers is that the version which can't be found is flathub-beta.

Btw it might be also good to test a map where it's not necessary to make a naval invasion. To see how the strategy "naval invasion" compares to "land invasion".

Lesser Ring? Though if a player takes one of the two small islands, a naval invasion becomes necessary to conquer the map.

Ok, guys.
I needed some time to make up my mind.

I am very sad that we have to skip the battle royale at the beginning.

But I am more then happy about the reason for skipping it, as we have more then 8 players and so we simply do not have a proper map for that.

I just adopted the rules and will draw the first matches in a few minutes.

Tournament wiil start next sunday Evening at 19:00 CEST.

I will prepare the results thread and update the announcement as well.

Why do replays still have to be zipped? Part of the motivation of unifying them into one file is that we don't have to bother with zipping and extracting anymore to share replays, and the website allows uploading .wry files as attachments.

Shouldn't the tag be updated once more before the 1st round? We've had 3 important fixes for naval warfare since the last update. (1 segfault, 1 hang and 1 UI adding important convenience functionality)

Good point. @Nordfriese would this be possible today? If not I think we might stick with the old tag for the firat round.
@tothxa any interest in playing yourself? I somehow miss you on the set list

I'd like to very much, but unfortunately it's too much commitment that I can't take now. Not even with late night matches, which were a problem for most other players last time too.

Ok I pushed a new commit 15dc1ead85dcc12eecccdc340dfed390648a5681 and it's building currently, I will move the tag and upload the binaries this evening.
