Sometimes I play a random map, and decide later that I'd like to play again on the same map - but I can't recreate it because I don't know the random number or the map ID. So those glorious random maps are lost forever, and I'll never find out if I would have won if xyz; and I'll never be able to restart as a different tribe or whatever. That's sucks. I could get in the habit of copying down the map id of every random map before I start just in case I want to use it again, but I think it would be better if there was an easy way to just get the map id while in-game, or from the description of a save file. I have a few ideas of how it could be done. I don't think the exact way is super important. I just think there should be a way to see the map ID after starting the game. (Maybe there is already a way, but I couldn't find it.) Here are a couple of ideas:
