Sigh, yeah, all we Canucks have is the world's largest land predator. They're damn cute too and some of us are trying to save them.

Sorry, not sure who or what Canucks are, as for the worlds largest predator, well we don't NEED a large predator, most of our bugs and spiders are dangerous enough. Ever heard of a Funnel Web Spider ? You don't give them a drink when they're thirsty because they[re already bad tempered. I won't even mention the RedBacks......

I will say my friend is that ALL of nature should be protected and preserved, it would be a lonely world without nature.

Yeah, it's all frozen sea ice. But the Bears do come south onto land. Churchhill (sp?), Ontario, Canada often has them as visitors. I've never been that far north but it is technically the same province... : )

Fair enough, I don't know much about Canada though from the photo's I've seen it's a beautiful country. As we don't get a lot of ice or snow, mainly heat, hurricanes, floods and bush fires ( you'd call them forest fires ) we don't have large carnivorous bears to worry about in our cities. Our most dangerous critters are small bu nasty. I will say from the photo's I've seen I love your forests and lakes, although from my last trip to Antartica, it's a beautiful place as well, it reminded me a lot of the canadian photo's i'd seen, minus those awesome bears of course.
