Is there a way to keep the game from eating or emptying all available hard drive space? When I open to play it starts eating gb til all are gone causing runtime error due to no available space on my hard drive. I love this game but I am now afraid to even open it.

Hi !WonderWin, face-smile.png

which version of Widelands are you using? I think the problem should be fixed in build13 - if not, it should at least be in development version.

Are you running Widelands on Windows or another OS?

Cheers

Well Build13rc2 is outdated. I suggest to either update to our current official version Build13 (https://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=40163&filename=Widelands-Build13-win32.exe&a=79243852) - don't know if the bug was already fixed there - or even better to use one of the inofficial (but ~ as stable) development builds from http://widelands.8-schuss.de - at least in those versions the bug should be fixed and there are further some more improvements.
