Hi everyone, i just registered but wasn't able to do this with the Internet Explorer. There the captcha wasn't shown. With Firefox it was no Problem.

I'm using Version 10 without any Javascript blocker. Perhaps the new (beta) version is the problem. Anyway I just wanted to tell, so you can check if it's a General Internet Explorer issue.

The problem is that an unsafe http script or iframe is included in an encrypted/safe https page. That is a violation of Internet Explorers's security rules and the recapture will only be shown if you allow it (you should get a bar at the bottom that asks you to show all content).

To fix this on the servers side is not possible at the moment, because a secure captcha via https will also not be shown (and in Google Chrome you don't even have the possibility to show it manually). The reason for this is that the certificate that is used on https://api-secure.recaptcha.net is for www.google.com and not for api-secure.recapture.net and therefore is invalid. Google needs to fix their certificate first.

Okay I should have read some more and I would have found the correct answer. The new secure recaptcha api is on https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/. I will fix this in my branch with the new design, so once it is online this issue should be fixed.

Thanks for reporting!

Ah, thank you for explaining. The bar was shown but allowing only resulted in a certificate error.

Shevonar, I just need to compliment you once again for the diligence you are bringing to the table concerning the website reworks. I am really looking forward to see the new site deployed. Thanks, man!
