Hi,

at first a great thanks to your wonderful peace of zeros and ones face-smile.png

As i played widelands (build 16) a time i've made a nice map for my own. But i could not find out, how to place a Description for that map. As your wiki (http://wl.widelands.org/wiki/EditorHelpMainMenu/#map_options) describes, it should be possible in the Map-options, but it isn't.

So i got the new Build 17 from Launchpad-PPA, but unfortunaly this Version crashes, when saving the map face-sad.png

The Original Maps are stored i a different way, as selfmade Maps are stored. Every original map is placed in it's own Folder with some text-files. The file "external" contains the description of the map.

Any chance to save a description for selfmade maps?

The description is indeed visible in the Map Options - I just checked this in the latest bzr trunk - but for some reason, it cannot be edited. This indeed seems like a bug. I entered it into the bug tracker here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1130469
