However you may of course continue your work on the submitted maps even if the contest is closed (although of course there won't be an update from the contest side for fairness reasons). Maps are never 100% ready - e.g. once the lua scripting was implemented, I added a scenario to "The green plateau" and just today I added port spaces to three of my maps that were initially created for seafaring and date back to the years 2007-2010
