Do you mean quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, etc.? or do you mean the staffs should be of different lengths?

could the guy whistle the tune?

Great idea! I'll see what I can do. face-smile.png

That looks very nice!

In reality, the stems must all have the same length (one octave), so leave them as they are. But I have remarqued that all the notes are inverted. The stem is on the right side and the "flags" of the eighth note must show to the right side. The whistling looks really good!

Just another little detail: The "hanger" on the right shoulder looks strange, maybe it should be closer to the body.

I subconsciously started whistling a widelands tune when I saw the picture face-glasses.png

Jupp, should have noticed that, too… But one could remark that the notes are right from the painter’s point of view. face-wink.png

What definitely should be corrected, is the beam of the 3 sixteenth, that should end at the third stem.

Thanks for your observations, and the lesson in music theory. face-wink.png

I'll do some more editing and hope to return our little gentleman with better accompaniment musically and sartorially. face-smile.png

In the mean time, "just whistle a happy tune".

Cheers!

Media News (after the brief music lesson) face-wink.png

You know, the notes DO look better this way. That is what I get for trusting to my memory once again. :) Media

I am just now thinking that the Widelands logo would possibly look good on the back of the parchment. I'll give that a go and we will see how it turns out.
