A paragraph should imho be clearly separated. But it's possible to have a normal linebreak also face-smile.png
As you could see in this post.
Markdown is a way to simplify the usage of HTML for users who don't know HTML. F.e. think of making a list:

Markdown:

- listitem 1
- listitem 2

HTML:

<ul>
<li>listitem1</li>
<li>listitem2</li>
</ul>

If you don't like markdown, you can also choose bbcode in the "Markup" box. A list would look like this then:

[list]
[*]item 1
[*]item 2
[/list]

  • item 1
  • item 2

A simple line break
is a simple linebreak.

Use 2 linebreaks for a paragraph.

While we're on the subject, it would be nice to have a link to https://wl.widelands.org/wiki/WikiSyntax/ in the reply box.

I think we could have a long philosophical discussion on FOSS/FLOSS/whatever the next acronym is. Widelands is free in both senses of the English word, so I think that the current description fits - I think it's clearer than calling it "libre and gratis".

This program is GPL'ed, so it is libre. We also offer it free of charge, so it is gratis. So, you can use it according to your philosophy - it is libre. It is also very clear from the description that it is. I sometimes wish people would do less bickering about terminology - discussing philosophy is good, but fighting about a keyword isn't of much use IMHO. If you would like to discuss this further, I think we should do this in a new thread, so we can keep this one is about technical bugs face-smile.png
