As the release of Widelands 1.1 is drawing closer, let's sweeten the waiting time until the last bugs are fixed by topping each other who can produce the most beautiful screenshots showing off the latest goodies. The rules are the same as in the previous competition:
All screenshots that are of sufficient quality will be published in our Screenshots section on the homepage.

Here's one showing the new features in the editor: tool history and show max buildspaces (oops, I've just realised that 1920x1080 is not needed... I'll make a smaller one too then) Edited: 2022-09-02, 01:28

No worry, 1920×1080 is fine. Uploaded it Top Quote |

Looks very good, especially with all the harbor areas - maybe we can make harbor or sea fearing gameplay even more relevant in multiplayer games Edited: 2022-09-02, 14:18

Sea fearing? As in, not building any ships? Top Quote |

OK, here's a 1280x720 version with the editor features where the interesting parts are actually visible. Assuming that @the-x's comment refers to the map, I uploaded it as https://www.widelands.org/maps/flori-1v1/ Edited: 2022-09-02, 22:26

I haven't played it yet, but if it is, as it seems, a nice little 1vs1 map, maybe https://www.widelands.org/maps/flori-1v1/ could also be an option as a map for the tournament? Top Quote |

My first thought was the same. However I am not sure whether the map is balanced enough Top Quote |

Could you create a tool for the map editor that just mirrors parts of an existing map? Top Quote |
