Hi, I tried t find the answer on my own, but failed - is there a way to play random maps in MP, or is it single-player only? Thanks!

Hi Alank2 and welcome to the forum The feature to directly start a random map is currently only available for singleplayer. To play a random map in multiplayer you need to use the "old-fashioned" way – open the map editor, create a random map there, save it, and use it as the map for a multiplayer match.

Thank you for the quick answer! :). Me and my friends will greatly benefit from it, we run through some maps already and we are having a blast. Also, this game is SO good. I played original Settlers 2 shortly after it was released as Gold Edition, and been playing it since. This game is a worthy successor, if not more. Unrelated question, if I may - is there any way for Atlanetans to get meat other then hunters? I needed it for the mines, and one of the map (which we're playing right now) has barely any animals on it.

The replenishable food resource for Atlanteans is fish. Meat is finite for them, but fish can be replenished indefinitely using a fish breeder. All tribes except Amazons use fish and meat interchangeably, so running out of meat doesn't do any harm as long as you have fish.
