Hmm looks like a complete wiki is needed for graphic developments, from blender installing to adding graphics it to repo. NoOb KiWwaTa NoOb Ma NeWeI Top Quote |

It's the coordinate in the picture - so "35 50" means 35th pixel from left and 50th pixel from head down - so on a picture with 70x100 pixels it would be the middle. not all picture viewers support a feature to show the pixel location - but e.g. the gimp does - simple open the image, hold the mouse over the point you would like the road to end at and take a look at the status bar - the coordinates are printed there. For the problem with the blender template: I do not know what happens there, but I know, that you should definitly use the template - without that template you will neither have the right lighting nor the right building orientation. Perhaps you could ask Chuck, or AlexiaDeath in IRC chat. If bithunter32 or trimard is somewhere, you could ask these two as well. Hope at least one of theme will read this post Cheers Nasenbaer Top Quote |

Hi, genesis! Nasenbaer described the hot spot quite well. I like your idea of using a light object in Blender to suggest a building's working mode. I confess that my knowledge of light controls is sorely lacking. You might take a look at graphics/tribes/empire/buildings/deep_mine.blend in the widelands-media repository for some ideas. I'll look into the approach myself and let you know if I can provide anything constructive. In the meantime, keep plugging and let me know if you run into any other obstacles. Cheers! Chuck I see little people. Top Quote |
