After an even begin carli managed to get the sea superiority. However I was able to sink his first invasion ship giving him a drop in soldier stats. I am not sure if I could have stand a desperate attack on my northern port although I was gathering a lot of good men there. replays attached

Part 2 of the replays vs _Elefantenrennen @Hasi: Could you please also upload your replays between 3:00 and 5:xy ? They seem to be missing. I wonder how you could win the "unwinnable" match Wanted to save the world, then I got widetracked

I've watched WorldSavior vs. _Elefantenrennen. What an ugly match… Illustrates the problem with cheap warships very well. (Also the problem with the balancing of Amazons.) I was surprised even when the first part was posted that WorldSavior chose to waste all his economical power on spamming the seas with ships, that he didn't even use all in the attacks. If _Elefantenrennen didn't lose his port due to that bug, WorldSavior would have been in a very hard situation. Even this way, if _Elefantenrennen realised what Hasi50 did, ie. that he could've ignored all those empty warships, and prioritised the wood supply of charcoal kilns over shipyards, he could have finished the training glade early, and could have had even stronger soldiers by the time of the land battles. It's telling that even with this big overlook on top of the first big loss, he easily reversed the military graph and overcame WorldSavior in the land battles initially, in spite of WS having about 3 times stronger economy and 3 training glades runnig by this time. But against that it was to be expected that his defeat was only a matter of time by then.
