Hi I just started today with WL, downloaded it from here and extracted it in ubuntu 8.10 and it fires up. The problem is that, the first mission only allows for building lumberjacks! I set the speed to x200 but nothing happens, only no more trees;) What could possibly be wrong, some kind of installation failure?? Please help as my experience is new with Linux, although i thought I could handle this little game.. thanks, Felio ![]() ![]() |

Yep.. I downloaded build13, after having the same problem with build 12, I downloaded from the buil-in application Add/Remove.. so I erased that one and rebooted, but here I am.. I even have to atart it from exe. in the file directory as it does not support an icon for the NBR version on my eee900.. ![]() ![]() |

hmm so you had the same problem with build12 as well? Okay perhaps a savegame would help us to see the problem ![]() ![]() |

just save the game as soon as you build your lumberjack and than stop the game open ~/.widelands/save and take the savegame you did as attachment to your mail ![]() ![]() |
