I have tried a different theme here, Have played it a few times and all seems ok, although it does slow down occasionally (Prob the Scots fighting !). I have included a few landmarks - Stonehege,Hadrians Wall, Ben Nevis etc and each countries main rivers. Plenty of resources too, just be quick to get some soldiers, as battle commences quite quick. This is my first map, hope you enjoy it.

A very well made map with a lot of stone and many trees. There are 2 start positions close to each other in the south and three close in the north (2 in ireland directly next to each other and 1 in england but very close). The map is not 'fair' in the sense that it is balanced for multiplayer and it is hard for the AI to get somewhere on the map, therefore I suggets playing this as a scenario map or just for fun with friends. |

Thank you. The start positions were purely to represent the capital cities, I assume people can pull this into the editor and change them as required. I did not intentionally make this for multiplayer - I have never played multiplayer as it will not run on my comp ! As I said in description, this is my first map and was basically made as a test for a new theme of real countries. Glad you enjoyed it. |

Finally, I have advanced from Dublin and, although the Scots nearly beat me, I conquered the isles. It was close as Eire seems to be relatively light on coal resource. |

I have created a seafaring map with each country having a port some way away from the headquarters. I am currently playing it with all players using Frisians and am enjoying it immensely. If anybody is interested in the seafaring version, I will upload it. |
