Please check the file found here:

https://www.magentacloud.de/lnk/H7IDRMAr

For legal reasons the Magenta people do not allow .ogg-files directly, so you must rename that file, sorry.

If the link above fails, I added it here, too: https://bugs.launchpad.net/widelands/+bug/1549963/+attachment/4581159/+files/Widelands2.ogg

Hello,

i think the seven first seconds seems too electronics for be well integrated with the others soundtracks actually in the game.

The full music seems very good for to be used in Widelands with the others, some passages seems like inspired by the actual Widelands soundtracks.

But actually the sound result i hear is like a MIDI file played with speakers and recorded with a microphone into a low quality, who result in too much vibrations/saturation.

Thinking of that vibrations, i have open your sound and two from Widelands, for compare, and while comparing and listening, i was wondering if your music will not be better without this redundant beat who take all the track for him and cause vibrations added to the others.

I think this is a very good tune, but it will need some refinement. I think that the 2 fast notes e.g. at 0:31 sound a bit forced. It is not the melody as such, but the volume/timing of how they are played. They need more lightness to them. I also think that the melody that they are in is repeating too often, it needs some variation.

This was generated from "Melody Assistant" on OSX, I will try to render this with Quicktime Instrumets that shoud perform better. If someone will help me, I can pos this as MIDI and somone with a fullblown DAW may render this.

OK, let check your comments in Detail now

OK, here is the MIDI File, Quicktime will not be that easy, though

The 2.1 sounds clearly better for me.
