Hi all.

I'm new to Widelands, currently on the first campaign.

I don't understand if there is a cost to seemingly costless actions like sending a geologist or adding a flag somewhere ?

If there is one, what exactly is it ?

If there is none, are we supposed to constantly do these actions everywhere ?

adding a flag elsewhere from a road may cost valuable building plots.
sending a geologist may cost a hammer to create one if no geologist is currently available

what you are supposed to do or not is described in our tutorials

Thanks.

But on a road, adding a flag costs nothing then, if I understand you correctly ?

And for the geologist, once they have their hammer, they don't consume it, they keep it with them til the end of the game ?

That is, if I create three geologists, I consume three hammers and that's all, I have three geologists that I can send simultaneously for the whole game ?
